(Mobile) Work offline

You can keep working in the app when you lose signal. When there is no connection, No internet connection shows at the top of the screen.

What works offline

• Looking up horses and contacts, as they were when the app last synced (shown as Last synced on each list)
• Adding and editing horses and contacts
• Taking photos and recording voice notes
• Writing and saving horse update drafts

Your changes are kept on your phone and sent to EPONA automatically when the connection comes back, while the app is open.

A horse or draft waiting to sync shows a clock icon. If something could not be saved, it shows a warning triangle.

What needs a connection

• Previewing a horse update email
• The Sent list in Comms
• Photos and files already in EPONA, on a horse's Media tab
• Adding a missing email address to a recipient

Before you sign out

Signing out clears anything on your phone that has not synced yet. Open the app somewhere with signal, and check nothing is showing a clock icon before you tap Sign Out.

Note - changes that still have not synced after 7 days are discarded, so open the app once you are back in signal.

Note - if someone changes the same horse or contact on the web app while you are offline, their change is kept and yours is discarded.
