# (Mobile) Call or message a contact

Phone, text or WhatsApp a contact from their profile

1.  Tap the address book icon at the bottom of the screen to open Contacts.
2.  Tap the contact's name. Use the search box at the top of the list to find them quickly.
3.  Tap Call to phone them, or tap Message.
4.  If you tapped Message, choose Text Message, or WhatsApp if it is installed on your phone.

Your phone's own calling or messaging app opens with the contact's number filled in.

You can also tap the contact's email address or website on their profile to open it in your email app or browser.

Note - Call and Message are greyed out if the contact has no phone number. To add one, tap the pencil icon at top right, enter the number and save.
