# Horse Profile

Learn about the horse profile tab

The profile tab displays information about the horse. A user can view relevant information such as date of birth,  microchip, breed, gender, dam, sire, location and status and at the top of the page. This information is available even when other tabs are select. 

If a horse is no longer on farm or require procedures and/or services, select Archive. The horse record can still be seen within the system but will no longer appear on horse list or in drop-down lists for procedures, transaction or movements.

To check the horse's details against the stud book, click Verify Studbook at top right, beside Archive. Once a horse has been verified, the summary at the top of the page shows the date as Last verified. See Verify Horse Against Studbook for the steps.

Tabs available under the horse are:

-   **Profile** - horse details can be updated 
-   [Interested Parties](https://epona.productfruits.help/en/article/horse-interested-parties) - shows billable contacts and interested parties in the horse
-   [Notes](https://epona.productfruits.help/en/article/horse-interested-parties) - All notes about the horse originated from movements, procedures or in general
-   [Procedures](https://epona.productfruits.help/en/article/procedures) - Displays procedures added to a horse 
-   [Transactions](https://epona.productfruits.help/en/article/horse-transactions) - Displays transactions added to a horse 
-   [Movements](https://epona.productfruits.help/en/article/horse-transactions) - Displays horse's current and past location and status with agistment  rates
-   [Media](https://epona.productfruits.help/en/article/horse-media) - Displays media uploaded for a horse
-   [Communications](https://epona.productfruits.help/en/article/horse-media) - Displays communications about the horse to the interested parties

### **Profile**

Horse details can be viewed and changed. If changes are made, select Save to update the horse's details.
